XEBIA - Software Development Done Right
Agile vs waterfall development success rates
Course Overview

This two-day course not only provides the fundamental principles of Scrum, it also gives participants hands-on experience using Scrum. This course puts theory into action through multiple exercises, case studies and by paying different agile games. Working as a team member in Scrum projects requires a different mind-set and skill set than working with traditional methodologies. Rather than being managed and getting tasks assigned by your project manager, the team in Scrum Projects are self organized.

Xebia created a training for team members to teach what it means to be self organizing, what responsibilities come with it and what can be expected from fellow team members, the ScrumMaster and the Product Owner. You will learn how to be more productive and have more fun at the same time. During the training the attendees will learn the Scrum activities such as how to help creating a Sprint Backlog, how to do estimations, how to update, create and interpret a burn down chart and other progress tracking charts, different information radiators and how to do retrospectives. After the training you will understand the principles of Scrum and can apply them to increase the effectiveness of your Scrum Team.
